I'm a local 3rd year special education teacher. This year is going to be especially challenging organizationally as I am spanning 4 grade levels (grades 2, 3, 4, and 5) with over 35 children I will be directly responsible for (IEP's), and around 60 that I will work with daily.
Fingers crossed for a good year!

As I get ready for another school year, I thought I would share a little about myself and my classroom.
I’ve been teaching in Baltimore City for 19 years, and although I live in Harford County, I continue to make the drive because I truly love the students and families I serve. This year, I’ll be teaching 4th-grade ELA and getting a brand-new classroom ready for my students.
I’ve put together an Amazon Teacher Wish List with things that will help me create a warm, inviting classroom where my students can learn, read, and feel at home. If you’d like to purchase an item or share my list, I would be incredibly grateful. Every single item helps!
Thank you to everyone who has supported my classroom over the years. It truly means more to me than you know!

Hi everybody, I’m a special education teacher switching schools after 18 years and moving into primary grades with students with varying abilities and needs. I wasn’t able to take a lot of my stuff from my previous school since it was bought for the school or the program of kids. I created a wish list and would greatly appreciate anything. You would be willing to help with. I know these first and second graders, would really appreciate some of these materials. The schools are in a definite budget crisis, and there isn’t a lot that we can be given for materials.
