Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Wood Haven overnight programs blend classic camp magic with purposeful growth, helping campers build independence, resilience, and teamwork while still having the time of their lives. Plus, Wood Haven is known for its top-quality equestrian programs!

Located on 320 mountainside acres in beautiful Central Pennsylvania, Grier Summer is a boarding and day camp for girls ages 7-17. Our campers are able to create memories that will last a lifetime!

Registration opens on January 12th and closes April 30th at 11:59 pm. Back in the 80s and 90s, summer camp was pure magic — no phones, no screens, just endless days under the sun and nights filled with laughter. Campers spent their time swimming in lakes, hiking through the woods, and crafting popsicle-stick masterpieces that somehow felt like treasures. Friendship bracelets were traded like gold, and evenings meant ghost stories around the campfire, the scent of s’mores lingering in the air. Cabins were cozy and simple, filled with whispers after lights out and flashlight adventures on the way to the bathhouse. Music from boom boxes floated through the air — everything from “Footloose” to “MMMBop” — as campers danced without a care in the world. It was a time of real connection, unfiltered joy, and the kind of memories that stick with you forever — a reminder that the best summer moments don’t need Wi-Fi to feel electric.

The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth offers rigorous, fun, three-week summer day and residential programs at 11 U.S. locations. CTY has 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus activities like talent shows and dances. Year-round online courses are also enrolling. Join our engaging community of learners!

Registration opens on January 5th for members and January 19th for non-members. Early bird pricing ends February 6th. Under The Stars Summer Camp features fun activities such as trampoline jump, field games, gaga ball, swimming, crafts, on-site educational visitors, and more. Outdoor activities include basketball, playground, field games, and swimming in our aquatics complex,  complete with waterslides.
